Its just too bad that the media and influential magazines are waiting so long to sound the alarm and inform the general public. This is sad because during this time, unfortunately, thousands of people are being spoiled by speeches selling you dreams. More than 2.5 million French people swindled by phony investments in bitcoin, forex, binary options and diamonds ... Unfortunately, as always people prefer to believe in a beautiful story rather than spend a few minutes checking the information given to them. Its been 10 months since Ive been alerting myself to the dangers of scams around cryptocurrency and bitcoin. I had done the same around binary options. It earned me threats and insults. But I always stayed the course and kept the videos online despite the threats. That people want to speculate on bitcoin with a few hundred euros why not. But we must know what we do. And unfortunately, people do not hesitate to trust strangers in line with their money. I had denounced these scams and that they would still grow. I was under the impression that payout from a binary option is inversely proportional to the probability of winning, (i.e. if the probability is 25% then payout is 1/0.25 = 4x) but now I’m confused: There is a contract at Predictious.com for “Price of Bitcoin end of 2015 to be more than $800” that costs 1.25 mBTC and the payout is 10 mBTC. Obviously the probability of this happening (according to crowd wisdom) is 12.5%. Or is it? The payout would be 1/0.125 = 8x. But if you start with USD, convert to BTC, then bet and win, and finally convert back to USD, your payout is at least 24x because the value of bitcoin must have at least tripled from the current $240 to $800. So is the probability 1/8 = 12.5% or is it 1/24 = 4.2%? Do we not have to assume that if there was a dollar-based prediction market with the same contract it would have a price of 4.2 cents and a payout of 100 cents? Any help would be appreciated!
Looking to get into ForEx/Binary Options safely with no previous experience other than paper silver trading.
Hi everyone. I was cruising the web and came across a video add for an app that piqued my interest in Binary Options, which reminded me that I wanted to learn about trading ForEx. This add professed an app that would do your trading for you, based on the parameters you set, with an 85% success rate. It was called the Guardian Angel Wing app. The minimum starting investment was $250, then they would gift you with another $125 and you could "start trading right away!" They use Opteck as a broker. I did some reading and tried to find some reviews and of course I could only find feeedback from people who were unhappy with it. It still got me thinking about how I hate the 9 to 5 grind and I am looking for ways to put more irons in the fire. Is there a way for a guy who is a blue collar joe to get into these sort of markets without taking massive losses? I'm providing for a family and don't have a lot of money to risk. That's why I was attracted to this GAW app, but I don't have the warm, fuzzy feeling I am looking for with that particular app. I traded a paper silver account for a year with a small investment, and by the end of the year I had increase the investment by 38%. Although I have no training or experience, I had a gut feeling on the prices of PM's and I would sell on highs and buy on lows. It seemed simple enough and worked for me, but the company I was dealing with changed their policy and made their minimum account holding price a little too high for me to be able to participate anymore. I just want something I can plink around with on my cel phone, jump in when I see a low and sell off when I see a high, and have the money stashed safely in an account when I am not actively trading. Is there anything out there for me? I also posted this on /trading - I am not a bot or a spammmer - Just looking for quick guidance and straight answers.
